i'm working later and later and laterrrrrrrr everyday.
i face the comp more than 12 hrs everyday.
and my meals are abt 10 hrs apart.
omg.

for now, i'm ok with that.
cos i know its going to end soon anyway.
and towards the night, my colleagues n i talk more crap n have more laughter to beat the silence in the office.
lol.

but my colleagues lead this kind of life everyday!
and i just cant help but think, i'll be leading this kind of life too.
in 2 yrs' time.
which will reach very very soon.
oh noooooo.

things simply have their own ways of occurring.

i thought that i cld start my countdown with a light heart, and finish up my work and set off to enjoy my holidays soon.
but my understudy at work arrived today, which is way freaking early, considering the number of days i still have left at the office and the amt of things i have to hand over.
of cos, with an extra pair of hands, it wont hurt right?
but the thing is, there's no computer, no table, and not even a chair for him!
until i leave the place.
omg.
yes, this is how it has been for other newcomers recently too, esp. when my team has been expanding like nobody's business.
so, besides the fact that he'll feel uncomfortable cos he doesnt even have a table and chair, i also feel pressurized cos i have to think of how to make things better.
and i know what it feels like to be in his position too, given my past temp experiences.
sigh.

anyway, news also came that there arent any more tix for ahs cds performance anymore.
sth really disappointing cos i've been anticipating it since last yr, esp. i know abt all the hardwork n effort put into it by roomie!
and i was really looking fwd to attending it with jas n co. too, and then can see zp again too!
oh wells.
but nvm, jas n i decided to attend the rehearsal at ahs instead, and i also haven even gone back to have a look ever since it was renovated fully.
haha.
looking at the buildings now, i bet we can all rem how much funds we've raised during our yrs.
lol.
so even though its not how i've planned to watch the performance initially, this idea of going back there n reminisce is starting to excite me too!
haha.
not sure if the other girls can join us, but hopefully they can! =)

also a number of meetups ahead, foc main comm dance practices to commence and hall camp coming up!
not sure how everything will turn out, but its all quite anticipating! =)

some snippets from trial camp and senior camp. =)

my junior, affectionately known as lisa, smsed me out of the blue and said she saw my face on the application booklet for FOC. (surprised that she can recognise me though, cos i think the photo doesnt look much like me. ) anyway, very glad to know that she's coming here, and that i can see her and talk nonsense with her again! really quite anticipating to meet the freshies. haha.

i've been away for the whole weekend for nbs senior camp.
didnt sleep a wink at all until the camp ended late last night.
fright night had good improvisations and overall, i really applaud the chief programmers.
as for my og, its really quite sad to see our group diminishing by the hours.
as it was raining throughout our whole camp, the gloomy weather just somehow dampens our spirits in a way i guess.
i hope for really nice weather during actual camp!
anyway, time seems to be flying and our actual camp is just 1 month away!
all those preparations since Sep 2006, gosh.
okies, gotta set off for sch now again, since we're preparing to send out the application forms today.
hopefully my migraine will go away soon!

i dunno how to survive so many camps tgr!

and admist all these, there's still work.
which i foresee myself doing more OT to clear all my work before i end my stint there.

and i want to meet up with alot of dear frens!
and guess wad, it feels like my summer break is ending soon!

well, i havent been here for quite long so here are just some updates.
been busy with work and meetups such that i haven really got the mood to sit down by my laptop.
finally today, being pressurized to check mails abt sponsorships for FOC and hall stuff, yeah i'm spending some time online now.
haha.

hmm i'm getting more used to the corporate lifestyle so i've been feeling much better about work now.
also perhaps cos i've gotten used to the culture here and am getting more familiar with my colleagues. =)
its really quite different here compared to the 2 other banks i had been in previously.
hmm i cant string any more elaborate details into words now.
so yeah, nvm.
lol.

anyway, i met up with my dearest old frens yst!
its a reunion after soooooo long.
jas, jos, sf, est and me. =)
we haven met up with jos for almost 3 yrs (*gasp*) and i also haven seen est ever since our bkk trip last yr!
they thanked me for organizing the whole gathering but acty, it wouldnt have been possible if they hadnt replied within a short span of time too.
so, thanks girls for the "yeah i can make it" replies.
haha.
we went to Cilantro which is acty beside Miss Clarity Cafe.
nice quiet ambience for chatting and while time away. =)
