Cant ever recall when i had fallen this sick in hall before.
And its really a terrible feeling to fall sick in hall.
Esp. when there seems to be an epidemic in hall cos alot of ppl are also sick.
I still struggled to cls on wed morning cos there was supposed to be a presentation done by my grp and i didnt want to desert my loveliest proj mates!
But my very s-l-o-w tutor didnt adhere to timing again so we didnt get to present that day.
Which may not be a bad thing either, considering that i hardly have any voice left.
After my seminar, i went to visit the sch doc, who proves to be nowhere near good, and thereafter, as i was queuing in can b during that peak hr to get some food, i felt as though i cld faint on that spot any minute.
Tsk tsk, very terrible feeling.
Sigh.
When one is sick, one is not just weak physically but emotionally too. And then, words of Alex's that were spoken to me recently came floating back to mind "..... get someone to look after u....."
haha whatever.
Anyway, on wed evening, i packed my bag and decided to go home to seek some solace and recuperate.
Yay home sweet home!
My family doc in my estate is still the best. lol.
Anyway, i'm better now.
However, my fever has subsided to give way to a bad cough which is so bad that at times, i feel as if i'm coughing both my lungs out. sigh.
I need my normal voice back to give presentations!
Well anyway, last night was my hall dnd.
The food at Holiday Inn Atrium was so bad that it made me guilty for complaining abt the dessert and glutinous rice that i had at Goodwood Park last sat during sch dnd.
The food last wk was so much more better comparatively. haha.
Anyway, I managed to take some photos before my camera's batt ran out (it ran out even before i had stepped into the ballroom!)
There, a mixture of seniors and freshies.Too bad i dun have a group photo of my freshies' OG yet!
Anyway, very importantly, i want to thank jas very very much for the emergency help!!!
Hope to be able to get some time and catch up with you when i've recovered!!! =)
During hall dnd while karen (the chairperson) gave her speech, it was filled with words which i cld totally identify with.
"A sense of loss will definitely be felt cos it had been a great committee to work in"
I guess i'm having the same sentiments towards FOC main comm right now.
But what matters most are the memories that we shared i guess. =)
Oh and I've just received the full list of sch Convocation Ball Main Comm 2008 which i'll be a part of in this new acad yr.
So many familiar yet unfamiliar names of yr3s!
Oh gosh.
Nevertheless, really hope it'll be a fun committee to work in!
Alrights, i have loads of readings and proj research to catch up with.
It's going to be the start of another wk again!
The passing of time during sch term amazes me, really.
