There are some mornings where I woke up, momentarily feeling tt I was in EUR. It's only when I turn to face the window and see the scorching sun rays shining in, then I realised tt I'm in SG. Never have I thought tt a month in EUR would have such an effect on me. Nevermind the fact tt I had been reading some chick-lit set in London for the past few days. And I just watched Casanova on tv last night, where the entire movie was set in Venice.
It's been 2 weeks ever since I'm back. I wonder when am I ever going to get past this post-travelling blues.
Oh alrights, need to get more in tune with my sg life.

A Reminder
Sometimes, all it takes is just a gentle reminder to pull us back into reality.
And that will totally make us stop living in our so-called "hope" further.
Which was acty just an illusion, really.
It's good in a way, I guess.

Days after EUR
- Suffering from withdrawal symptoms of H&M and Primark. Oh well, what can I expect. Sha n I spent 6 hrs in Primark over 2 days, and we combed H&M 7 times in 6 different cities. (Not counting the 2 times I visited H&M when I was in HK before EUR.)
- Saw 2 birds at the bus stop where I was waiting at today. My first thought was "gosh, they're so skinny!" And then, I realised that tts just cos they seem malnourished as compared to the fat birds in EUR. The pigeons and crows over there are fat. Like, really fat.
- I thought tt I would be so excited to feast on SG delicacies once I'm back. But apparently, I didnt feel as much excitement as expected. Strangely enough, I miss pasta. Which I ate for like, 3/4 of my trip actually. And amazingly, sha misses pasta too. So maybe, just maybe, the nxt time we meet up w mormor, we might just drag him to eat pasta w us, instead of stingray as agreed before.
Nevertheless, most things just feel like I had never been away for a month at all. =)
But well, I dunno why I'm considering not to change my leftover pounds back into sgd. I think I'm secretly hoping to return back to London sometime soon, haha.

Back.
With a full truckload of experiences and stories to share.
With a yearning to see more of the world, after having seen a little part of it.
With a love for the weather in temperate countries, and an instant dislike for sg's humidity the moment I touched down.
Anyway, returning is being back to reality.
So here comes reality.
On a random note, I really did manage to check my results in Paris, after a little piece of drama. (My trip had its fair share of drama btw, but more abt tt nxt time). And anyway, I have OFFICIALLY graduated and I will really don my mortarboard and my gown in july! =)))
