bangkok awaits!
air tickets are booked.
next step: hotel booking.
yes yes, jas, est, sf and i are gonna embark on our long awaited and much-said post A-level trip to Bangkok on 12 July!!!
haha... its been sth that we've been talking abt since the end of O'levels and here we are, it has come true!
of cos, we've talked abt many different destinations over the yrs.. haha...
met up with jas and est yst to discuss our itinerary.. and it's just so exciting.. haha
sf ah! u definitely must join us on our next meet-up ah!
lol
its gonna be 5 days of shopping, good food and music! =)
anyway, the past wk has been a great wk cos my work's good and raffles place has been so happening.
a cow was actually brought there to promote magnolia's new oat milk and gosh, the cow had such nice fur! (is it called fur, anyway?)
besides, i dont recall seeing a cow at such a close dist before too... haha
but the weather was hot and the poor cow was just sitting down without much energy...
donna came down to raffles place on fri and it's great to see her cos its been quite some time since. =)
but it was a rather short meet-up so we must meet up soon again!
looking forward to watching da vinci code with ming too!
and finally, i've found a roommate!
so thankful that i'm not going to end up with some acquaintance from vj or worse, some prc as my roommate...
jodi's gonna be my roommate and we've known each other since sec1 so i look forward to an exciting hall life with her!
oh btw, after hearing some tales, i'm so not keen on the orientations anymore....
but still... the importance of networking...

west side story
went to ntu today for the nbs tea session
quite a number of vj girls and i wonder if thats a good thing or not.
but i really hope nat and sock ling will choose ntu acc.
haven got a roommate yet
sigh.
mr vice-chair accompanied his gf aka conjoined twin to the session even though he doesnt belong here cos he's entering engine.
he doesnt seem to realise that his presence there is taking up one comfortable seat in the seminar room while there were so many more girls dressed in skirts and have to sit on the steps.
their behaviour caused me to conclude that their relationship isnt really very healthy cos they're actually depriving each other's opportunities to make friends and interact with ppl.
and many of us do know that back in vj, they're actually losing their frens too.
oh well
i have no right to comment on them anyway.
nat felt guilty cos we didnt talk to them and was done with a simple wave.
but of cos, nat is a kind person while i am not.
anyway, in the end i couldnt get hold of anyone who could tell me the exact date of the orientation camp.
and now, i still dunno if it'll clash with the bangkok trip.
but well, i may just go ahead with the trip anyway.

turning 19
yet another yr older.
happy birthday to me. =)
somehow this yr, i lament on the passing of years and how old i've alr become.
haha
maybe it's the impact of the final yr being a teen
the last birthday where my age begins with the digit "1"
maybe its the significance of the age and what comes along with it.
and maybe cos i seriously dont feel 19 at all.
lol
when i was younger, perhaps in my sec sch yrs, i always thought that 19 means being really grown up.
it probably has to do alot with it being the age where we girls enter uni.
where we begin our varsity life
and boy, does that make us sound like big girls alr?
haha
i guess that has alot to do with the strong emphasis on what my parents has made on the importance of making it to uni ever since i was a child.
cos i'm the 1st one in my paternal family to make it to a local uni
and my parents will finally feel "oh yeah, i've finally brought up a girl who can make it to university!"
well, sth like that.
n well, bear in mind that the older generation thinks that getting into uni is a whole big deal
but of cos, that isnt really the case for our generation anymore.
but i digress.
19 is also the age where ppl will start asking if i have a boyfriend alr, as proven by my recent mother's day gathering at my grandma's house and by my auntie-colleagues.
n sooner or later, it gets annoying.
lol
19 is also the age where i've to start to become financially independent cos my parents think that i should start giving tuition and earn some allowance of my own
but i cant seem to get any tuition deals
and i'm such a shopaholic who has so many wants.

but of cos, 19 is also nice cos its just part of growing up and we all cant deny the growing up process cos we arent Peter Pan.
so yeah, i'm looking forward to my 19th year, hoping that it'll be filled with happiness and good health and being able to realise all hopes and dreams.
